As part of this years Juice Festival  Shaun Allan & Celia Begley from Vector76 joined local film maker Ian Fenton to deliver the Reboot Machinima Workshops at the Tyneside Cinema. Working with a group of 14-18 year olds that had joined REBOOT week via The Factory youth project at the Tyneside Cinema, four groups worked on 4 separate machinima movies ( three entirely based in Second Life plus one in Minecraft). The group worked with Vector76 & Ian Fenton on the movies from initial ideas & concepts to storyboards, moving onto the creation and acquisition of digital assets within Second Life. The movies were premiered at the Tyneside Cinema on the 30th of October along with other conventional films by young local filmmakers.

Welcome to Vector76

Published on June 7, 2010, by in About.

Welcome to the home of Vector76. We specialise in the design and development of content for 3D virtual worlds such as Second Life and Opensim.

NewcastleGateshead SL

What we do  . . .
Put simply we build stuff, content in 3D based on the real world such as our very own virtual NewcastleGateshead islands in Second Life or indeed environments that don’t exist  - in real life – such as our Business Quarter Tower home of Sunderland Software City amongst others.

Details of the areas in which we work are available throughout our website. If you have a query regarding something that isn’t covered please feel free to email one of the Vector76 team.

Vector76 – Virtual Conferencing

With air travel worldwide occasionally disrupted, due to the volcanic ash clouds, strikes or whatever Vector76 can assist in providing your company with a virtual conferencing solution that can help you fullfil meeting commitments anywhere in the world.

Office suite or conference hire is available on a daily or annual basis for companies who need to keep their conference programmes and scheduled meetings going without leaving the office.

Our Virtual Conference Centre provides access for  upto 150 people (avatars) within a highly secure and private virtual environment based in virtual NewcastleGateshead in Second Life. Avatars
can meet in realtime without the need for expensive time consuming travel.

Facilities include inbuilt VOIP (Voice over IP), live audio and video streaming and full integration and display of conventional web content (including Flash).

Although the use of Second Life is relatively easy, additional training can be provided in person by our partners in 36 countries worldwide.

Establishing a permanent virtual presence is essential for any business wishing to compete on a global level, Vector76 are here to provide your company with that competitive edge.
