Reboot Machinima Workshops

As part of this years Juice Festival Shaun Allan & Celia Begley from Vector76 joined local film maker Ian Fenton to deliver the Reboot Machinima Workshops at the Tyneside Cinema. Working with a group of 14-18 year olds that had joined REBOOT week via The Factory youth project at the Tyneside Cinema, four groups worked on 4 separate machinima movies ( three entirely based in Second Life plus one in Minecraft). The group worked with Vector76 & Ian Fenton on the movies from initial ideas & concepts to storyboards, moving onto the creation and acquisition of digital assets within Second Life. The movies were premiered at the Tyneside Cinema on the 30th of October along with other conventional films by young local filmmakers.
